John Mike Dennehy was born in Butte, Montana, to Irish parents that are assumed to have the last name Dennehy. His childhood included watching lots of football. He earned his teaching degree at Carrol College in Helena, Montana, where he majored in political science and minored in musical arts. He is known to frequent the Safeway Deli, whose regular customers usually exceed the half century mark. His wife, Jean Dennehy, is speculated to have done much "behind the scenes" work for his Butte High teaching position, apparently writing notes and making up most of his tests.

His teaching styles include:

-He entertains his classes by singing and dancing during "lectures"

-Believing that the South had better generals than the North in the Civil War (thats why they lost)

-Instigating fights between students

-Trying to set up students on dates

-Instigating fights between students he previously set up on dates

-He Loves Lobster!! With a hot side plate of butter.

-In 1977, John Mike was arrested and charged with Crack-Cocaine possession and Peraphenilia.
