Trainspotters is a Swedish rap duo from Umeå consisting of Rewind (Erik Hörstedt, born 1986) and George Kaplan (Hannes Sigrell, born 1988). The group has been active since 2004, toured Europe and the US and released the vinyl and CD in Japan. Trainspotters are also included in the collective Random Bastards, which serves as the disc and booking agency and distributor of music and merchandise. The debut album Dirty North, produced by Umeå producer Academics, was nominated for P3 Guld 2011 in the category "Best Hip Hop / Soul". The disc is visited by Throwing Away from Chicago, Eboi and That Dude Prince from Stockholm and Cleo from Umeå. The latter is just like Trainspotters sponsor of The Salazar Brothers and Amethyst Azordegans compilation album Evolution, released in autumn 2010 by Bonnier Amigo and Redline Records.The music video for Trainspotters single fan First released in summer 2010.
