Mimo Mali is a multimedia artist of North African and European heritage living and working in: Berlin, Cape Town, and Los Angeles. She is also known by the moniker MYMO, which is an abbreviation for her work My Monsters spelled in runes that represent protection, illumination and divine order.

Mali studied Visual Communication at The Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, Design at BAU Escola Superior de Disseny, Sculpture at The Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, and painting at the Städel Schule.

Mali's career began in street art and large scale urban murals.
