My interests lie in history - mostly industrial history - and the people who made history happen. My cultural interests extend into artists and their works. I have a special interest in the New York School, Abstract Expressionism, and Peggy Guggenheim and her circle. That said, I live in the midst of Pennsylvania Impressionism and enjoy seeing works by our own artists from the past 150 years.

My first article, Peter Grippe, went up on 11 January 2011 and is available for critique, editing, amendments - whatever. Please help me present as much citable data on the artist as possible, and help me make it accessible and interesting as well. The article needs photographs of Peter Grippe's work!

Other works I have written or co-written include Archibald Johnston, the first mayor of the consolidated city of Bethlehem, a now-draft article on Green Pond Marsh, which recently received "Important Bird Area" designation from the Audubon Society, and American Parkway, a road and bridge system in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
