About me

I completed my degree in physics (MSci) at Imperial College London from 2014 to 2018. After that, I worked for a tech company that manufactured microLED displays. My role involved creating software and hardware solutions to electrically and optically characterise the displays. I worked there until 2023, when I decided to return back to pure research as a PhD student at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics and Uppsala University.

Research area

I am interested in the electron acceleration mechanisms involved in magnetic reconnection. I am studying this using data from the NASA Magnetic Multiscale (MMS) mission, which is focused on the probing the plasma environment inside and close to the Earth's magnetosphere. Using MMS data, such as 3D electric and magnetic fields, particle distribution functions and energies, we can probe the physics of magnetic reconnection in the magnetotail and magnetosheath to understand the physics of some of the most extreme acceleration mechanisms in our solar system.
