This is no longer called cenntenial sqaure. In the spring of 2008 the city of victoria with funding by the goverment of British Columbia a 2.1 million dollar revialition project began, with added features of a covered Band shell and revitalized space, fountains, and green space.

It is now Called Spirit Square
