Matt Barber (Actor)

Early life and education[edit]

He grew up in Hampshire, training classically as a chorister at Winchester Cathedral before receiving both academic and music scholarships to Bradfield College, where he became head boy.

Barber studied Classics and Philosophy at Durham University

He trained professionally at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School from 2005 to 2007.

Career[edit]

He is best known for his roles as Freddie Eynsford-Hill in Peter Hall's Pygmalion at the Old Vic and internationally.
