The International Symbol for Custom Fishing Rod Building

Created to represent the craft/art of custom fishing rod building, the symbol uses three fishing rod tips which represent nearly all the various fishing rods in use around the world today. Owing to its international flavor, there is no text, only a stark, bold, graphic image. The image was created and copyrighted in the Summer of 2008 by Tom Kirkman, editor and publisher of RodMaker Magazine.

By early 2009, the symbol had gained worldwide acceptance as the craft's official representative symbol.
