My name is Jamal and I am a human rights activist and an independent writer. I have written several articles on human rights abuses and am currently working on an article on the socioeconomics of the Zimbabwean people, political violence in Zimbabwe, the pursuit of democracy by the people and the obstacles they have faced in obtaining true freedom since the introduction of The Movement for Democratic Change as a contender to the ruling Zanu-PF party. I have always used Wikipedia as a reference tool to look up information on a wide spectrum of subjects. During this I realised that I could contribute to this phenomenal archive and I am finding it very interesting and exciting. I hope that my contributions can help this community and everyone feels free to assist in the articles that may still be expanded on.
