This Violates My Parole is an American rock band from the Mankato, Minnesota area.

History

[edit]

This Violates My Parole was formed in early 2010 after Patrick and Joe decided that their former band (with Ben) wasn't ever going to get together and play. (It had been around for around half a year without ever recording much) The band was originally intended to be an electronic duo between the two, but the next day Patrick added Ben and Ava.

Members

[edit]

Patrick was born on September 6th, 1995 in Mankato. He was raised there until age 10, when he moved around 15 hours south-east to Pemberton, Minnesota.
He plays bass guitar, softsynth, and writes most of the songs for the band.
He plays a Dean Guitars Edge 09 bass guitar, uses FL Studios for softsynth, and in the rare occasion he plays guitar, he uses a Squire Bullet.

Ava "A-Pet" Peterson

[edit]

Ava was born on October 14th, 1995], and was raised in Fairmont, Minnesota.
Ava sings in the band. She also plays bass clarinet and guitar outside of the band.
Patrick and Ava have an inside joke where he has a "creeper profile" of her, where he has random information of her. (such as her being left handed)

Joe "J-Bru" Bruels

[edit]

Joe was born on September 11th, 1995 in Mankato, but moved to Ely, Minnesota. Growing up, he knew Soul Asylum drummer, Grant Young.
Joe drums in the band, does occasional vocals, and writes some of the songs.

Ben "B-Mak" Mackie

[edit]

Ben was born on May 18th, 1996 in Detroit, Michigan, but moved to Mankato as an infant. He met Patrick through church, and they became close friends.
