YEONTAN

Yeontan (연탄) is the name for large coal briquettes used in South Korea for cooking and home heating. Made from a mixture of (lignite) coal dust and a gluing agent that kept the dust particles together.

Yeontan is also a part of Bts (boyband) and Army (their fanbase name). His owner is Bts' Kim Taehyung (stage name 'V') Born on the 7th of September, Yeontan has melted hearts of Army and Bts themselves.

Yeontan's breed is a Pomeranian.

His first appearance was on December 4th. Kim SeokJin was having a livestream on Vapp because it was his birthday. Min Yoongi came to visit him and while they were talking, Taehyung appeared in the back and he was holding something. Quick witted Armies soon found out that it was a small little black and brown puppy. On December 18th, Taehyung posted a video on their Twitter (BTS_twt) of the cute little puppy and he also revealed the puppy's name.

Taehyung's Tweet: [Trans] Name: Yeontan (briquette) The new member of our family.

That day was the day Taehyung confirmed that the cute little puppy is in fact Taehyung's new puppy.
