January 2022

[edit]
  1. Brihans Natural Products: nominated at AfD; notified Simbalillyoreo (talk · contribs) 04:01, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: There's a lot of PR sources - some explicitly labeled so, others given away by promotional text. Couldn't find anything to pass WP:NCORP.

February 2022

[edit]
  1. CARS24: nominated at AfD; notified Wierdeditor (talk · contribs) 03:15, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: All the references (including the Hindu Business Line, Financial Express and ET ones) in the article on this unlisted company are either interviews or funding/launch announcements. Unable to find any coverage independent and substantial enough for WP:NCORP through search engines, so bringing here.
  2. Hombale Films: nominated at AfD; notified 96karuna (talk · contribs) 04:58, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: No in-depth sources passing WP:NCORP. Apart from this which itself reads like an interview, others are all film announcements. My attempts to listify were reverted twice. Bringing here to decide what the article should be. This version from before my listification had more sources than the current one, but none significant.
  3. Big Bang Entertainments: nominated at AfD; notified AhamBrahmasmi (talk · contribs) 06:25, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Same reason as previous AfD four years ago - film announcements, which are all that's available on web, aren't enough for WP:NCORP.
  4. Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics: nominated at AfD; notified Edwige9 (talk · contribs) 03:23, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Sources are all routine announcements of operations performed which do not appear independent. No in-depth coverage for WP:NCORP found. PROD removed by author.

March 2022

[edit]
  1. Tuhin Sinha: nominated at AfD; notified Chakrabortyronojoy (talk · contribs) 11:12, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: The refs are all either book reviews (mostly brief ones at that) or subject's own articles and interviews. Since he's a spokesperson of a major party, there are a lot of search hits but the coverage is limited to quotes only. Journal hits are a different person. Note that he was a columnist for Times of India, so ToI refs need additional scrutiny.
  2. Wooden Street: nominated at AfD; notified JoyWhick (talk · contribs) 07:49, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Sources aren't sufficient for WP:NCORP. The Entrepreneur article, while long, quotes the founders exclusively and has independence issues.

April 2022

[edit]
  1. Category:Indian Freedom Fighters: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified DotServer (talk · contribs) 09:32, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
  2. Punjabiyat: nominated at AfD; notified Profitoftruth85 (talk · contribs) 14:12, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Amitized had tried to nominate this, but some of the steps weren't followed. I'm just listing this on their behalf. Following rationale is copied from their original attempt at nomination.

Delete - 10 years since this article was started, 3 lines is what we have until now. Moreover Google trends shows this is just a random buzzword pushed intermittently in online content. Amitized (talk) 07:17, 11 April 2022 (UTC)

May 2022

[edit]
  1. School Chalo Abhiyan: nominated at AfD; notified JoyStick101 (talk · contribs) 13:01, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: The content in this de-prodded article, is about a program launched last month by Uttar Pradesh chief minister for which there is absolutely nothing apart from the coverage of his speech. All the references are PR in nature or are extensively written based on minister's comments. (The same CM had apparently "launched" this same program in 2017; which shows the pitfalls of relying on news sources here).
The title, 'School Chalo Abhiyan' is a routine slogan - literally meaning 'Go to School Campaign' in Hindi - used widely as a local term for "Enrollment drive". See for eg, Uttarakhand govt, an NGO, Madhya Pradesh chief minister, another NGO. As an WP:ATD-R suggestion, perhaps a brief line on the usage of the slogan could be added to Education in India and the title could be redirected there.
  2. Jungo Plus: nominated at AfD; notified JoyStick101 (talk · contribs) 15:50, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Most of the content is copied from Jungo TV. Refs are all routine launch announcements. All of them, including The Hindu article, share similar wording; carry extensive quotes of the same insider and do not appear independent. Can't find a single non-PR source after the March 2021 launch. Both my redirect to Jungo TV and PROD on the basis of not meeting WP:NWEB, were reverted by DMySon.

June 2022

[edit]
  1. Acropoliis Entertainment: nominated at AfD; notified Ericranium (talk · contribs) 11:38, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: No in-depth coverage found to satisfy WP:NCORP. Search hits all contain only passing mentions in articles about the shows they've produced.
  2. Gunasekaran Sundarraj: nominated at AfD; notified Guna minature (talk · contribs) 13:56, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: No independent sources found. Some of the references are to subject's own site; others are blogs or unreliable. The Hindu article is an interview in a city supplement, Tribune is a passing mention among awardee list and the award's notability is not established. (rationale copied from my PROD)
