Frankie recipe at International Bartenders Association

The Frankie or Le Franquoi or The Queue Dodger (/ˌðʌˈrfrˈænkˈ/; French pronunciation: [ˈfʁan ˈkyaʁ], "The Frankie") is a traditional drink variant for locals of Leicesteshire (England, UK) town Lougborough. The drink is most commonly devised of four shots of vodka and coke in a pint glass (although any mixer can also be used with varying scrutiny from your peers). Ordering a Frankie can come with certain obstacles whilst in an area where it is not known. This is due to many landlord licencing contracts[1] that do not allow serving of liqueres in quantities larger than 50ml. In this case, the common place is to order two double vodka and cokes and a pint glass. It is believed to have started at Loughborough University as a drink to avoid long bar queues hence the name Queue Dodger.
