The Ever-Present Origin (German: Ursprung und Gegenwart) is a book by Swiss phenomenologist Jean Gebser. Part One: Foundations Of The Aperspectival World was published in 1949; Part Two: Manifestations of the Aperspectival World was published in 1953. It was translated into English by Noel Barstad and Algis Mickunas in 1986. The EPO describes certain mutations or irruptions that Gebser theorized had occurred in human consciousness.
