Soundtrack[edit]

All original music in the film was composed by Carter Burwell[1]. The composer had previously worked on every film made by the Coen Brothers with the exception of O Brother, Where Art Thou?[2]. The Film included pieces of Yiddish music including Dem Milner’s Trern by Mark Warshawsky and performed by Sidor Belarsky[3] which deals with the abuse and recurring evictions of Jews from Shtetlekh [4].


The soundtrack also included multiple songs by popular 1960’s artists which are listed below:
