Joint Task Force Guantanamo counter-terrorism analysts have asserted that jihadists trained at an Afghan training camp called Kohtal training camp.[1]

The Summary of Evidence memo was prepared for his second annual Administrative Review Board, on 8 March 2006, listed a factor favoring release that stated[1]:

  • "A witness was shown a photograph of the detainee, and the witness stated that the detainee is not the individual who was an instructor at the training camp in Kohtal."
