Parson Weems' Fable is a 1939 painting by the American Regionalist artist Grant Wood. As of 2021, the painting is in the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.[1] The painting depicts Mason Locke Weems presenting a scene from his apocryphal anecdote of George Washington cutting a cherry tree.
