I was thinking it would be quite useful to have a page which mapped out the whole of world history, not in detail, but as a set of reference time-lines. I have often thought that this would be a useful tool - especially when trying to make head and tail out of the art movements and such.

So please do help, there are an awful many years worth of history on this planet.
