The 2010 Cleveland Browns season is the team's 64th season as a professional sports franchise and its 60th season as a member of the National Football League (NFL). The team will be attempting to improve upon its 2009 season in which it placed fourth in the AFC North with a record of 4–11. This season will mark the first full season under the leadership of team president Mike Holmgren and a new general manager. It also tentatively marks the second season under head coach Eric Mangini, however it is unclear if Homlgren will retain Mangini as head coach. The Browns will play all of their home games at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

Off-season[edit]

Personnel changes[edit]

On December 21, the Browns hired former Green Bay Packers head coach and Seattle Seahawks head coach and general manager, Mike Holmgren to take over as the team president. His duties include personnel management, and he may hire a general manager to assist him. He also will have the power to replace Eric Mangini as head coach if he so chooses.[1]
