Qari Abdul Wali Farooqi (Urdu: قاری عبدالوالی فاروقی‎, Qari Abdul Wali Farooqi; ( born 14 June 1978 ) was a Pakistani Sunni Scholar who founded an organization Ahlesunat Waljamat (Sipah-e-Sahaba in the 1980s.)[1]

Qari Abdul Wali Farooqi was born, in 1978 in Pishin, a village in the Quetta District of Balochistan, Pakistan. He graduated from the Jamia Rahimia in Quetta in 1993. Wali Faroqi joined the Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam and started teaching at a madrasah in Jamia Usmania in 2002. In 2016 he became the imam and khatib of a Deobandi mosque in mohalla Jatak Stop in the city of Quetta. Before he began focusing his preaching against Shia, he was active in the Khatm-i Nabuwwat movement against Ahmadis and also spoke out against practices of Barelvis[2]
