After finishing her schooling she continued to pursue her music career and eventually she also ventured into acting doing several independent films and in 2016 she played "Catalina" on the show Sex Sent Me to the ER in the episode "Routine Romance".[8] In 2018, Poggi ventured into the world of modeling after being one of the first girls to be selected for Nuestra Belleza Latina where she made it into the top 30.[9]

In 2019 she auditioned for the reality singing competition show Reina De La Cancion.[10] She was praised for her singing abilities by both the judges and the public and eventually made it all the way to the finals finishing in second place.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).[11] This success also earned her a nomination for Best New Artist of 2019 at the Premios Fama in 2020.[12]
