Expertus, Inc. is a privately-held software and services company, headquartered in Santa Clara, California with regional offices in London, New Jersey, Paris and Chennai, India. The company develops cloud-based learning technology, business process outsourcing, and cloud adoption services, primarily for large corporations. Their flagship product is a learner-centric LMS (learning management system) called ExpertusONE.

Expertus also provides consulting and outsourcing services related to cloud computing.

History[edit]

Expertus was founded in 1998, and got its start deploying and fixing learning management systems problems for large enterprises. The company later expanded into learning business process outsourcing and specialized in administering the learning management systems of its clients. Expertus’ first development and support center was established in Chennai, India in 2002. The business expanded into learning portal development and user interface design to provide customization of existing learning systems to the specific requirements of each client. In 2009, Expertus developed and released the first version of ExpertusONE, a self-contained learning management system that is provisioned using the software-as-a-service model.

ExpertusONE – A learner-centric LMS (learning management system) that's designed for large, global enterprises who provide learning for their employees, partners and customers. The platform is private cloud-based, hosted, with e-commerce, social learning, collaboration, certification tracking and integration with external applications via its web services architecture based on ReST technology.

Learning Business Outsourcing – Consulting, administration, customization, content development, help desk and program management services related to business learning operations.

OneCloud – A cloud-based content storage solution, optimized for multimedia, learning object and document management. OneCloud simplifies both content distribution and integration with multiple external applications.
