Duane A. Sikes (born 6 October 1953[1]) is an American movie producer whose work includes producing 38 films.
Life and career[edit]
Duane A. Sikes currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was born and raised. Sikes' career path began in his teens by volunteering at his local Public Broadcasting Station. After this, Sikes moved into the Movie Theater industry to further his knowledge about what movie audiences wanted. At this point, Sikes progressed in his career and worked for marketing with American Broadcasting Company. Within the past few years, Sikes has been producing many movies. Sikes cites his mentor as A. C. Lyles of Paramount Pictures.[2]
Duane Sikes' movie "The Box" received media attention by Hendersonville, North Carolina's newspaper Times-News, which encompassed the different aspects of filming the picture in the area. [3] Town and Mountain News of Asheville, North Carolina also wrote an article about "The Box" explaining the scenery used in the film, as well as the direction the director wanted to take the film.[4]
