Hi and welcome to my user page. I'm Elfie, and I write and edit pages on Wiki when not studying for my A-levels or playing on Neopets (username there is elf_maniac, feel free to look me up). I live in Eastbourne on the south coast of England, and I wasborn on 24th December 1989. I'm currently researching and writing an article about Hannah (Hanneli) Goslar, a friend of Anne Frank and her family, which I hope to translate into French once it's finished.

Hannah Elisabeth 'Hanneli' Goslar was born in Berlin, Germany on 12th November 1928.[1] In 1933 Hannah and her parents and grandparents moved to Amsterdam, Holland, where she became a close friend of Anne Frank, author of 'Het Achterhuis' (The Diary of a Young Girl). She was imprisoned in Westerbork and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps from June 1943 to May 1945. She survived the war and emigrated to Israel in 1947, where she trained as a nurse and married Dr. Walter Pinchas. They have three children and ten grandchildren.
Early life
[edit]Hannah was born in Berlin, Germany in 1928 and lived there until 1933, when her family moved to Amsterdam, Holland. They lived at 31 Merwedeplein from 1933 to 1941, making them neighbours of Anne Frank and her family. Hannah attended a Montessori school until the age of twelve, when she enrolled at a Jewish school following Nazi legislation. She was also a close friend of Susanne 'Sanne' Ledermann, and the trio were often nicknamed 'Anne, Hanne and Sanne'[2]
