Researchers in Gothenburg, Germany, and Switzerland have operated 4 spinal cord injured patients. When a spinal cord injury occurs many nerves will be damaged but the doctors finds a intact nerve above the injury, moves it and sew it together with the muscle that doesn't work.

The results so far is way above expectations says the professor and hand surgeon Jan Fridén to Dagens Eko.
