Ana G. Valenzuela-Zapata

Mexican pioneer scientist in Tequila and Mezcal agave plants and industries, Professor at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico (1992-2012).

First Projects on tequila and blue agave.

1. Desert Plants Journal (1985) about Tequila Industry and with Dr. Park S. Nobel (1987) on Agave tequilana productivity and ecophysiology.

2. The blue agave cultivars plant conservation used in XIX for tequila production in the tequila region (1992 to 2011)[1].
