Pennsylvania, like many other colonies, was involved with the war and developing problem of the American Revolution.

History[edit]

Philadelphia was the site of the Constitutional Convention. It also served as the capitol city for a while. Threats from Britain caused the country to relocate to Baltimore, Maryland. They returned to Philadelphia later and moved on later.

Fighting[edit]

A troop commanded by General "Mad" Anthony Wayne was surprised by a bayonet charge at Paoil, Pennsylvania. The massacre claimed more than 50 Americans and more than 100 were wounded. Gen. Washington kept his forces at Valley Forge near the Schuylkill River.[1]
