L.A. COBRA[edit]

L.A. COBRA - Sleaze Rocking Hair-Metal Stars from Pretoria, South Africa - The only Sleaze Rock/Metal/Glam Band on the African Continent, fly the flag of the 80's Glam Rock scene from the handlebars of their Harleys. Cherry Hill, L.A. Cobra debut album released in 2007. L.A. Cobra's second album "How much snake can you take??" will be released in 2010.


The Sleazy Begining[edit]

Formed in November 2005, L.A. COBRA is South Africa’s answer to 80’s Hair Metal – Pretoria Style. Largely influenced by 80’s rock bands like Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi,White Snake, Poison, Guns N'Roses, KISS, WASP and Skid Row, L.A. COBRA is all about girls, Harleys, big hair and a good time. bringing back those memorable guitar solo’s and “balls to the wall” hard rock shows we’re all starved for with a modern twist from their songwriting as we know them, these guys are the real deal, and live Rock and Roll!


Cherry Hill (2006 - 2007)[edit]

L.A. Cobra's Debut album Cherry Hill Recorded late 2006 and released early 2007 by [Intervention Arts]and produced by L.A. Cobra and Ashton Nyte of The Awakening. Also a cover of Poison's "Look what the cat dragged" on the Cherry Hill album, that featured on a United Kingdom based TV Commercial for Polycell
