AtumLMS

AtumLMS is a SAAS (software-as-a-service) eLearning platform other terms to describe the AtumLMS are Performance Management System (PMS), Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Content Management System (LCMS) Course Management System (CMS), Training Management System (TMS) or Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

AtumLMS is used by small, medium and large corporates with a special emphasis on its usability and workflow feature. This platform has the capability of accommodating thousands of registered users.

History

The initial development of AtumLMS was initiated in 2011, the beta version was availed on February 2012 and the alpha version was fully released on September 2012. The platform has currently incorporated newer features such as Gamification and Social Learning and AtumLMS has annual updates.

This flexible API can extend AtumLMS and integrate it with other proprietary or open source products and custom services. So the platform can easily integrate with enterprise software with ease such as HRMS, PMIS, and SAP systems.

With AtumLMS' flexible PHP wrapper around its flexible API, there is a programmatic access to the platform's resources such as users, courses, categories, and groups, enabling external clients to query, update and create new e-learning resources.

AtumLMS is written in the PHP programming language and hosted on LAM (Linus, Apache and MySQL) based infrastructure. The platform supports modern HTML5 features and Ajax-based interaction in the front end.
