Diego Alonso Méndez Quiroz (born October 4, 1993 in Arequipa, Peru) is a Peruvian studente-clarinetist. He learned to play the clarinet in 6th grade. When he was 10 years old he moved to the U.S. and lived there for four years. After that he moved in the year 2007 to his hometown. His parents are Frank Méndez a geophisical engenieer, and Claudia Quiroz, a lawyer who teaches at Universidad Católica de San Pablo. He's currently a student in Colegio San José, a Jesuite school in the city. Diego has extraordinary science, Art, Writing, and Algebraic abilities, and he's also first clarinet in his school band.
