Imatest LLC is the company that produces the Imatest image quality testing software. It is run by photographer/engineer Norman Koren.
Imatest attempts to adjust images with different amounts of sharpening to a standard amount of sharpening, and to compare resulution in of those adjusted images.[1] Imatest also tests color accuracy, tone-scale linearity, image distortion, light falloff, and printing gamut.
Imatest software is used and referenced in research, art, and industry.[2][3][4]
