The Emmarentia Public Library is situated on the corner of Barry Hertzog and Greenhill road in Emmarentia, Johannesburg, South Africa. Emmarentia Library is a small, but well stocked quiet space, that is stocked with fiction and reference materials . This library also has public computers with Internet access and free Wi-Fi. Librarians in this library, seek to serve, empower and train those who make up the surrounding community.[1]One of Emmarentia Library’s projects is PAIL (Public Access to Internet in Libraries) ,[2] where free access to the internet is offered. Whether learning to use the net on desktop computers, or becoming mobile literate. Emmarentia Library is making a difference to the community.
