Dave Mansfield is an American Punk Rock/ New Wave Musician, song writer and author born July 9, 1968 in Lorain, Ohion. He is best known for being lead singer and bass player in The Mansfields.The Mansfields signed to Gearhead Records[1] in 2007 and released their third album entitled "Cramp Your Style". The album provided Little Steven Van Zandt (Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and HBO's Sopranos Star) the Frankenstein Twist which Steven declared "the coolest song in the world" on his Halloween show in 2009. The song "Frankenstein Twist" also appears in the film "Scare Zone the Movie". Rodney Bingenheimer, legendary KROQ DJ and former owner of the Hollywood glitter club "Rodney Bingenheimer's English Disco" began playing tracks from "Cramp Your Style" immediately upon the album's release in July 2008. "Lipstick Killer", "NYC Rock-N-Roll" and "Who Want's to be a Zombie, Anyways?" became widely known for airplay on Rodneys KROQ show "Rodney on the ROQ fom Los Angeles". As a footnote, Rodney Bingenheimer is portraited by Keir O' Donnell in the feature film "The Runaways". [2]. Stardumb Rumble Festival[3]
