DawsonOSB is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is a member of the 2007 graduating class of Pius X High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned his bachelor of arts in history. Currently, DawsonOSB is a postulant monk at Christ the King Priory, a small monastery of the Congregation of Missionary Benedictines of Saint Ottilien.
His interests include religious studies, history, bicycling, J.R.R. Tolkien, and tea.
