Lyndon Brett Baker (born 1973[1][2][3]) is a British trombone soloist, adjudicator, educator and conductor. He is best known for playing principal trombone for the Black Dyke Band for over 20 years, with whom he won numerous national and international titles[4].

Baker is also an artist for Michael Rath Trombones, sales director for Denis Wick and Alliance Products, and chair of the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators.

Early life

Baker was born in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, studying at the Royal Forest of Dean College, before moving to Manchester in 1992 to study at the University of Salford.
