Shmonday, the time from 12 PM on Sunday to 12 PM on Monday, encompasses the worst part of our week...MONDAY MORNINGS!!! Our intense hate of Shmonday evening (known to some as Monday morning) is instilled in young children, as they notice the grumpiness of their kindergarten teachers. It continues through high school and college, until adults pass on their loathe of Shmonday evenings to their kids.

Shmonday was never created; it was merely labeled. No single person can possibly take all the credit for the name, for it is a combination of Sunday and Monday. The 'H' was added over the years for extra flair.
