Cordula C. Peters was born in Innsbruck, Austria, on October 1st, 1978 to German parents. She was the youngest of three daughters. When she was 6 years old her family moved back to Germany and settled in Munich. There Cordula went to Elementary School and then High School. Already as a child Cordula showed a big interest in art. She loved to draw and paint and whenever the family went on vacation she would take her fathers old Canon camera to shoot photographs.

After Cordula graduated from Wilhelm-Hausenstein-Gymnasium in 1998 she left Munich and moved to Boston, Massachusetts. There she worked as an au pair for one year. She took drawing classes in the evenings after work, started meeting with other artists and musicians and slowly established her position in the local art scene. It was her drawing teacher who encouraged her to apply to art school to get her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Going to the Art Institute of Boston was a whole new experience for Cordula. Although her major was Fine Arts with a concentration in sculpture and Installation work she continued to study photography. She also worked at the New Media Center and developed a high interest in computer arts.

After graduating with her bachelors degree Cordula started teaching computer classes at the Art Institute of Boston and worked as a freelance graphic designer. She continued her education and in 2004 received her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Inquiry from Lesley University. Shortly after her graduation she moved to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take on a teaching position at Abu Dhabi Women's College at Higher Colleges of Technology where she worked for four years until 2010 when she left the UAE to move to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In Saudi Arabia Cordula chaired the Visual Communication department at Dar Al-Hekma University, a local non-for-profit university for women. While there she helped guide the department through an extensive curriculum review for their graphic design curriculum, headed the development of a new motion graphics curriculum, and was able to lead the process of getting both accredited by the country's national accreditation body for higher education. While in Jeddah Cordula also completed her Doctor of Education in Higher Education through the University of Sheffield, UK.

In September 2017 Cordula moved to London, United Kingdom (UK). There she attended Le Cordon Bleu London and graduated with a Grand Diplôma in Cuisine and Pâtisserie in June 2018. Now living in the UK, Cordula works as a chef at Simpson's in the Strand at The Savoy bringing together her love of design and food.

She recently presented a paper at the Oxford Food Symposium
