Chris Poulson (Born: March 3, 1980) is an American Musician.
He may be best known for his role as the original drummer for the alternative rock band, Rock Kills Kid, based out of Orange County, California.

Poulson was born in Burbank, California. A bright student with a lot of passion. He graduated high school in 1998 from Burroughs High in Burbank, California. He enrolled into college right after high school to study psychology and music theory. He always had a strong passion for music, but could never find the right break to take him to the next level.
In 2001, Poulson found his break by auditioning for a band from Orange County, California, called, Rock Kills Kid. He landed the gig from that audition, and soon after was in the recording studio tracking drums for their debut self-titled release on Fearless Records, Rock Kills Kid EP.
With former band mates: Jeff Tucker (vocals, guitar, songwriter), Kirk Huffman (bass), and Devin Kelly (guitar, vocals, piano). This line-up of Rock Kills Kid toured moderately across the United States in support of their debut 6-song EP released in early 2003 by Fearless Records. Poulson left the band in late 2005 to pursue other interests.

Poulson has been in and out of various bands since Rock Kills Kid. While in RKK, an A&R rep for Maverick Records was looking for a drummer to take part in a new music video for an up and coming artist by the name of, Tyler Hilton, for his debut music video, titled, "When It Comes". Poulson took the role, learning the song over night, and shooting the video the very next day.

Still playing music, and chasing his dream. Poulson still had no luck with finding the right gig. In 2007, he decided it was time to take matters into his own hands and create a band that was built around his visions. Writing music and lyrics he felt would appeal to the masses. In 2008 he created and formed several bands. But, these were only stepping stones to his dream of having his music heard all over the globe.
AS of 2012, Poulson is still currently a singer/songwriter pursuing his passion to the fullest extent.
