  • Maghreb is a region of northern Africa which has the largest hot desert on Earth and the Atlas mountain range, which passes through its countries Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya. Maghreb also has Morocco, Western Sahara and Mauritania. The capital of Morocco is Rabat and the largest city is Casablanca. The largest city of Western Sahara is Laayoune. The capital of Mauritania is Nouakchott, of Algeria is Algiers, of Tunisia is Tunis, and of Libya is Tripoli. The culture of Maghreb largely eats couscous. Maghreb was inhabited by the Amazighs people. Ⓐ The Phoenicians created the new city on the sea border called Carthage, which has become Tunis today. Close to Utica Hippone.
