Brassa P. Marhaisk (ブラッシャ=P=マールハイスク, Burassha P. Māruhaisuku) is a magician belonging to the Russian Orthodox Church. During World War III, Marhaisk is present at a prisoner escort truck convoy controlling a small, eight-wheeled carriage hitched to a Sleipnir when he witnesses the might of Academy City's HsB-02 supersonic bomber attacking their route.

Asakura Olivia Moa[edit]

Asakura Olivia Moa (朝倉=オリビア=萌亜) is a student at Tokiwadai Middle School belonging to the clique led by Nagisa Mikagami and a Level 3 esper with an ability called "Keratin Control" (角質制御, Kerachin Kontorōru), which allows her to modify her body's keratin to turn it into horns and claws, as well as to make her skin hardened.

Caliche I. Niknosh[edit]

Caliche I. Niknosh (カリーチェ=I=ニーキノシ, Karichie I. Nikinoshi) is a magician belonging to an unnamed Russian cabal and a failed member of the Russian Orthodox Church. Niknosh's magic is aided by a method called "Ex Voto", which allows her to cause miracles by communicating a request to the Son of God via a third party such as one of the patron saints throughout history. She is present in a shopping mall in Eastern Russia due to a deal with its management in exchange for Academy City's Project Code EIC system.

William Orwell / Acqua of the Back[edit]

William Orwell (ウィリアム=オルウェル, Uiriamu Oruueru) is a mercenary working for the United Kingdom until he decides to leave the country to protect it from the outside and consequently joins the God's Right Seat of the Roman Catholic Church under the name Acqua of the Back (後方のアックア, Kōhō no Akkua). His magic name is Flere210 with an ability called "Divine Mother's Mercy" (聖母の慈悲, Seibo no Jihi), which allows him to nullify the liabilities of certain special spells to perform powerful spells under unfit conditions. Acqua meets Toma Kamijo for the first time in Academy City when he is extracting the defeated Vento of the Front out of the city. Acqua soon returns to the city to crush Kamijo due to the threat of his right hand, but he is defeated by him, Kaori Kanzaki, and other members of the Amakusa-style Remix of Church. During the British Halloween, Acqua comes in to rescue Princess Vilian from the Knight Leader's group. He also participates in stopping Princess Carissa's coup d'état by destroying the military antenna that is being used by her to call in cruise missiles toward the Buckingham Palace. During World War III, Acqua is in Russia to stop Fiamma of the Right's plan. He aids Shiage Hamazura in protecting a village and later engages in a battle with the archangel Gabriel.

Acqua reverts to his real name following the end of the war and the dissolution of the God's Right Seat. Orwell is temporarily released from the Tower of London to assist the United Kingdom in its fight against the magic organization GREMLIN. Learning of Kamijo siding with Othinus, he is then mobilized to Denmark to capture them. Following the events, Orwell returns to his cell.

Suama Oyafune[edit]

Suama Oyafune (親船 素甘, Oyafune Suama) is a math teacher at Toma Kamijo's high school and Monaka's daughter. She shows an obsession with her beauty as she takes multiple baths a day, puts on lotion before going to bed, eats breakfast every day, keeps her weight in check, spends her morning hours putting on makeup, and buys Western clothes from shopping channels.

Ekalielya A. Pronskaya (エカリエーリャ=A=プロンスカヤ, Ekarierya A. Puronsukaya) is a female pilot of the Russian Air Force who is active in engaging Academy City's supersonic fighter aircraft HsF-00 over the Sea of Japan during World War III.

Qliphah Puzzle 545 (クリファパズル545, Kurifa Pazuru 545) is an artificial demon created by Coronzon as a weapon against Aleister Crowley. She later makes a contract with Accelerator to serve as his advisor in anything related to magic in exchange for him sparing her from death.

Drencher Kihara Repatri[edit]

Drencher Kihara Repatri (ドレンチャー=木原=レパトリ, Dorenchā Kihara Repatori) is a member of the Kihara family specializing in ghost research and the creator of the artificial ghost named Frillsand #G. Repatri has shown care for Child Errors despite bearing the notorious name of the family, which he uses to gather information about the children involved in Academy City's dark side and rescue them.

Esther Rosenthal[edit]

Esther Rosenthal (エステル=ローゼンタール, Esuteru Rōzentāru) is a magician specializing in necromancy and the head of the Rosenthal family. Rosenthal is recruited by Mikihiko Hishigata upon arriving in Academy City and teaches him about necromancy, during which she befriends his younger sister Hirumi. Following the death of her friend and the failure to revive her, she realizes the consequences brought upon by her family's teachings. Rosenthal eventually escapes from Hishigata and begins searching for Last Order to save her from his plan.

Saigo (災誤) is the gorilla-like guidance teacher at Toma Kamijo's high school. He is rumored to have stopped a chunk of falling bedrock with his bare hands.

Agnese Sanctis[edit]

Agnese Sanctis (アニェーゼ=サンクティス, Anyēze Sankutisu) is a Roman Catholic nun leading the church's paramilitary force comprising of 250 battle nuns called Agnese Forces. She is equipped with a polearm-like weapon called Lotus Wand, which allows her to render attacks based on the effects that happen on the weapon. To compensate for her small stature, Sanctis wears a chopine. A resident of Milan, Italy, Sanctis is orphaned at a very young age following the murder of her parents and becomes a street child until she is taken in by the church.

Sanctis is tasked by the church to secretly eliminate Orsola Aquinas, but her mission is thwarted by Toma Kamijo, Index, Stiyl Magnus, and members of the Amakusa-style Remix of Church. As a punishment for failing the mission, Sanctis and her forces are placed under the command of Bishop Biagio Busoni, who plans to use her for the Rosary of the Appointed Time spell to destroy Academy City. Sanctis is later rescued by Aquinas accompanied by Kamijo, Index, her fellow nuns Lucia and Angelene, and the Amakusas. Sanctis and her forces are absorbed by the Anglican Church's Necessarius while remaining devotees of Catholicism. Sanctis then begins to take on missions on behalf of Necessarius, with the recent major one being during the invasion of Crowley's Hazards in London.

Beverly Seethrough[edit]

Beverly Seethrough (ビバリー=シースルー, Bibarī Shīsurū) is the director of the romance film An Iron Bridge Is a Sign of Love, which is Mikoto Misaka's favorite film. Her genius directing has earned her praise at Cannes Film Festival. Seethrough is present in Liberal Arts City and has since met Misaka and her friends on their vacation.

Fremea Seivelun[edit]

Fremea Seivelun (フレメア=セイヴェルン, Furemea Seivuerun) is an eight-year-old elementary school student and Frenda's younger sister. Her ipso facto esper ability is called "Agitate Halation" (人的資源, Ajitēto Harēshon), which is capable of influencing AIM diffusion fields to manipulate "heroes" and make them protect her like a damsel in distress. Seivelun becomes a target of Academy City's dark side organization Freshmen, but she is rescued by Toma Kamijo, Accelerator, and Shiage Hamazura, who becomes her guardian until Beetle 05 takes over.

Frenda Seivelun[edit]

Frenda Seivelun (フレンダ セイヴェルン, Furenda Seivuerun) is an operative of Academy City's dark side organization ITEM and Fremea's older sister. Seivelun is the only member of the team capable of defeating opponents without any esper ability by using explosive items like dolls stuffed with bombs and explosive tapes. She loves to eat mackerel because it reminds her of her hometown in Norway. Following her death from Shizuri Mugino, Seivelun is laid to rest in the graveyard tower in the city's District 10.

Daedalus Sequenzia[edit]

Daedalus Sequenzia (ディダロス=セクウェンツィア, Didarosu Sekuuentsuia) is the father of Shutaura and the pilot of the Spaceplane Orion built in Academy City until his death from its crash caused by the burning left engine.

Shutaura Sequenzia[edit]

Shutaura Sequenzia (シャットアウラ=セクウェンツィア, Shattoaura Sekuuentsuia) is the leader of the private security organization in Academy City called Black Crow Unit and a Level 4 esper with an ability called "Earth Palette" (希土拡張, Āsu Paretto), which allows her to store rare-earth elements and release them as explosive energies. Sequenzia is one of the 88 survivors of the Spaceplane Orion crash and has since lost her ability to discern music, resulting in her hearing them as static instead. She also becomes hateful of people referring to the crash as a "miracle" because they only highlight the survivors, dubbed as the Miracle 88, without honoring the death of her father Daedalus, the 89th passenger, who has been repudiated from the report revealed by the city to the public.

Kuroko Shirai[edit]

Bax Silver[edit]

Bax Silver (バックス=シェルヴァ, Bakkusu Sheruva) is the American base commander of Pearl Harbor's Third Marine Base in Oahu who has been controlled by Saronia A. Irivika. Silver welcomes President Roberto Katze, Toma Kamijo, Mikoto Misaka, and Leivinia Birdway to the base and informs them of the loading of the Trigger device on the runaway. He is apprehended by the military police after attempting to shoot Katze.

Silvercross Alpha (シルバークロース=アルファ, Shirubākurōsu Arufa) is a member of Academy City's dark side organization Freshmen.

Anna Sprengel[edit]

Anna Sprengel (アンナ=シュプレンゲル, An'na Shupurengeru) is a magician belonging to the cabal Rosicrucian Order who serves as the master of its No. 1 temple in Germany and as the influence in the foundation of the Golden Dawn. Sprengel's body was stolen by Madame Horos in the 19th century, but she eventually retakes it with the help of Aiwass following the battle between Aleister Crowley and Coronzon in the United Kingdom.

Since her return, Sprengel starts to oversee the creation of R&C Occultics and becomes its chief executive officer. She infiltrates Academy City and encounters Toma Kamijo, whom she kisses to give him the St. Germain virus via a black pill. She later engages in a fight with Mikoto Misaka and Misaki Shokuhō, who both want to retrieve a cure for the virus from her.

Freadia Strikers[edit]

Freadia Strikers (フリーディア=ストライカーズ, Furīdia Sutoraikāzu) is a magician belonging to the Anglican Church's Necessarius who acts as the supervisor for the members of the Amakusa-style Remix of Church during their admission test to the organization. Strikers has once taken the test to join Necessarius involving escaping the submarine armed with a bomb in the North Sea and reaching the surface to pass it. She becomes the target of Aili Hexenphobia since she has been handed the VIP security plans for the attendees of the Pound Economy summit.

Alfred Thirdman[edit]

Alfred Thirdman (アルフレッド=サーマン, Arufureddo Sāman) is an American commander stationed at Grand Arrow Air Force Base in California. He learns about the invasion of Hawaii by the private military company Trident and the eruption of the volcano Kīlauea, prompting him to give the order of contacting the Dirty Lance Ballistic Missile Launching Base in Texas to launch ballistic missiles that would blow away volcanic ashes for the aerial units' aids to come in.

Luca Toyama[edit]

Luca Toyama (豊山 琉華, Toyama Ruka) is a magician belonging to the Kamisato Faction who is capable of controlling the age of her physical appearance based on the lore surrounding Legba Atibon found in Haitian Vodou. Toyama is seen wearing bikini in a pirate dress.

Motoharu Tsuchimikado[edit]

Voiced by: Anri Katsu[17] (Japanese); Newton Pittman[18] (English)

Motoharu Tsuchimikado (土御門 元春, Tsuchimikado Motoharu) is an onmyōdō magician from Necessarius, with Fallere825 as his magic name, who has infiltrated Academy City as a spy and one of Toma Kamijo's best friends. He is also a Level 0 esper with an ability called "Auto-Rebirth" (肉体再生, Ōto Ribāsu), which allows him to repair damaged blood vessels. This makes him the only successful magician-esper hybrid. Tsuchimikado is always seen wearing sunglasses and an aloha shirt, and ends his sentences with "nya" (an onomatopoeia equivalent to the Japanese word for "meow"). He is deeply involved during the events of the Angel Fall spell incident, in a manhunt of Oriana Thomson amid Daihasei Festival in Academy City, in a mission with Kamijo to retrieve the Document of Constantine in France, and during the uprising of several dark side organizations in Academy City as the de facto leader of GROUP. Tsuchimikado begins investigating the Agitate Halation Project, resulting in the involvement of his stepsister Maika, and later attempts to escape Academy City with her after shooting Aleister Crowley for failing to keep her safe in the city. He is last seen in Tahiti along with Maika.

Komoe Tsukuyomi[edit]

Komoe Tsukuyomi (月詠 小萌, Tsukuyomi Komoe) is the homeroom teacher of Toma Kamijo's class. She is well-known for her height of 135 centimetres (53 in) yet is an adult who loves to drink beers and smoke cigarettes, and appears to be childish in her voice and mannerism as she contradicts her age in front of her students by ending her sentences with "desu" (a Japanese copula).[20] Tsukuyomi does not possess an esper power but becomes capable of casting a healing spell after helping in treating Index and Aisa Himegami. She is regarded as one of the school's seven mysteries and postulated by Accelerator to be a successful test subject for an experiment involving ways to stop cell aging. A Certain Magical Index author Kazuma Kamachi revealed that she is the oldest character he introduced so far.[21]

Cutia Virginroad[edit]

Cutia Virginroad (キュティア=バージンロード, Kyutia Bājinrōdo) is a magician belonging to Necessarius who has a rusted circular saw she tied in a leash like a pet dog called Alps. Virginroad is part of the team that is assigned to protect the British royal family on their way to Scotland during the invasion of Crowley's Hazards in London.

Arthur Edward Waite (アーサー=エドワード=ウェイト, Āsā Edowādo Weito) is a magician belonging to Golden Dawn who has a major contribution in the development of their cabal's version of tarot.

Kinuho Wannai[edit]

Kinuho Wannai (湾内 絹保, Wannai Kinuho) is Kuroko Shirai's classmate at Tokiwadai Middle School and a Level 3 esper with an ability called "Hydro Hand" (水流操作, Haidoro Hando), which allows her to manipulate water with a maximum volume of 400 litres (400,000 mL) in four separate clumps and launch them within a range of 18 metres (59 ft). Wannai befriends Mikoto Misaka after being saved by her from delinquents during her early days as a transferee. Wannai meets Toma Kamijo during an expedition with other students of Tokiwadai to destroy the Crystal Tower that is responsible for the Element creatures, but she immediately runs away due to her shyness.

Aiho Yomikawa[edit]

Aiho Yomikawa (黄泉川 愛穂, Yomikawa Aiho) is a physical education teacher at Toma Kamijo's high school and an Anti-Skill officer. Her colleagues at Anti-Skill call her "the woman who makes the serious comical" due to her habit of subduing delinquents with protective gear like riot shields and helmets. Yomikawa becomes the guardian of Accelerator and Last Order after her friend Kikyō Yoshikawa asked a favor to take care of them.
