Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires are a rock and roll band out of Birmingham, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia.


History[edit]

2010-2020[edit]

The group was formed in 2010 by guitarist, lead vocalist, and principal songwriter Lee Bains III.[1]

In 2008 Lee Bains III joined the Dexateens as a guitarist. After two years of playing with the Dexateens, they went on hiatus, and he formed the Glory Fires.

In 2012 they released There Is A Bomb In Gilead via Alive Naturalsound.

In 2014 they were signed to Sub Pop and released Dereconstructed.

In 2017 the band released Youth Detention // via Don Giovanni records and in 2018 the band released their first live album, Live at the Nick.

2020-present[edit]

In the summer of 2020 Lee Bains III & the Glory Fires are playing the SWSX festival.
