ZerCustoms is a daily online media automobile magazine and news outlet founded in July 2006. The magazine's main areas of interest include, among others, the automotive industry, motorcycling, motorsport and the associated technology and lifestyle. It is available internationally and it's content can be reached through a range of various online media channels, appart from the official website.

History[edit]

ZerCustoms was founded in July 2006 by Aurelian Ovidiu Capra as an automotive classifieds website. Soon after, in September 2006, it became an online automotive news outlet, focusing on the latest vehicle launches. In January 2007 ZerCustoms made publicly available a comprehensive and extensive database of car specifications, covering classic as well as modern models. In February 2008 ZerCustoms started focusing on other aspects of the automotive and motorcycle world too. These include motorsport events, technological advancements and various related environmental aspects.

In October 2011 ZerCustoms started offering a video section, which includes various reviews and opinions, as well as live coverage of various automotive and motorcycle shows and events.

On June 28, 2011 ZerCustoms became a registered trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office [1] as an online magazine that provides information in the field of automobiles, motorsports, automobile racing and exhibitions.

On December 10, 2011, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. cited ZerCustoms [2] as a reference, as the Italian car manufacturer applied with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for patenting a new process and system for manufacturing a new composite material.

ZerCustoms takes into consideration various aspects of the automotive / motorsport world.

Vehicle Launches[edit]

As far as new vehicle launches go, ZerCustoms focuses mainly on new cars and motorcycles. However new planes, boats and even military vehicles are also covered within the magazine's articles. The publication features up-to-date information on both production vehicles as well as concepts. Innovative vehicle designs are highly regarded too. The information includes full official specifications, photographs, videos and first impressions.

Reviews[edit]

ZerCustoms magazine provides written and video reviews of the various types of vehicles it features. These reviews are published daily, and are meant to offer information about the featured vehicle, certain aspects of the vehicle, comparisons with similar products and what the potential buyer could expect from it.

Motorsport[edit]

ZerCustoms offers information regarding various motorsport events, highlights, new relevant technologies, regulations and business decisions. It also offers the opportunity for motorsport fans to express they're opinion on these matters and to exchange ideas. Some of the main motorsport areas, but not limited to, covered by the magazine include Formula One (F1), World Rally Championship (WRC), NASCAR, MotoGP, DTM, INDYCAR, Dakar Rally and the X Games,

Technology[edit]

A special role in the magazine's mission is to offer detailed information on aftermarket technology and design specialists, who aim to improve products which are already publicly available on the market.

Environment[edit]

ZerCustoms covers various issues regarding the environment and it's rather obvious changes. From alternative fuels to new eco-friendly technologies, the magazines's articles include information about innovative engines (motors), new means of transportation (as long as they don't take out the passion and emotion out of the "equation"), and other aspects of this rather sensible subject. Everyone is welcomed to join the debate in order to express their pinions, concerns, and ideas.
