SunLinkTM[edit]

SunLink Corporation designs and manufactures solar balance of system components including photovoltaic mounting systems for roof and ground, solar combiner boxes,[1] and wire management trays for commercial and utility-scale installations.


SunLink has over 1,200 commercial installations throughout North America, which represent more than 250 MW. Notable installations include Alcatraz, Port of Los Angeles, the Atlantic City Convention Center, Googleplex, San Francisco International Airport, Sony Pictures Studios, San Francisco’s Sunset Reservoir, Corona Wastewater Treatment and the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. Some of SunLink’s installation partners include Borrego Solar, American Capital Energy, Southern California Edison,[2] Sullivan Solar Power, Real Goods Solar, Morgan Stanley Solar Solutions, Ray Angelini, Hypower and Absolutely Energized Solar Electrics.


SunLink is headquartered in San Rafael, California with offices in southern California and New Jersey. SLK Solar, a SunLink subsidiary, is located in Ontario, Canada[3] Product design, testing and some fabrication take place in California and virtually all manufacturing is done in the United States. SunLink solutions can be made to meet Made in America, Buy American, ARRA and Ontario Power Authority FIT (Feed-in Tariff) and microFIT criteria.


The company is known for its R&D work, particularly in the areas of seismic and wind engineering. Partners include the Boundary Layer Laboratory at [[The University of Western Ontario]] and structural engineering firm Rutherford & Chekene[4] SunLink also conducted extensive seismic testing for two of its roof mount systems at UC Berkeley’s Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center Shake Table[5][6]

Founded in 2004, SunLink is a privately held company consisting of over 70 employees as of 2012.
