The Chamber Practice Dundee Saturday Morning Football League (DSMFL) is a football (soccer) league competition, primarily for amateur clubs in the Tayside area of Scotland. It was formed in 1992. The association is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association.

As of the 2022-23 season, the Dundee Saturday Morning Football League (DSMFL) had 31 member clubs:

League structure[edit]

The Dundee Saturday Morning League is split into three divisions, a Premier League of 9 teams, First Division which contains 12 teams and the bottom tier, Second Division which contains 10 teams. The league has a self-contained promotion and relegation system, As a stand-alone Association and not part of Scotland's pyramid system, the Premier League does not act as a feeder league and as such there is currently no promotion available from the top tier. The Premier Division has 1 automatic relegation spot to the First Division, along with 2 play-off spots, the First Division has 1 automatic promotion spot and 2 play-off spots alongside 1 automatic relegation spot and 2 play-off spots, the Second Division has 1 automatic promotion spot and 2 play-off spots, along with no relegation as it is the bottom tier.

Cup Competitions[edit]

As well as the league, the association administers five cup competitions for teams in membership: the Shaun Kelly Memorial Cup - named after a player who tragically died while playing, the George McArthur Memorial Cup - a consolation cup for teams knocked out in the first round of the Shaun Kelly Cup & a League Cup for each of the divisions (Premier League Cup, 1st Division Cup & 2nd Division Cup). Additionally, each division compete in a pre-season League Cup (Brian Adamson Cup) to supplement their round-robin campaign. Below is the list of clubs who have won either the Shaun Kelly Memorial or George McArthur Memorial Cups.

National and District Cups[edit]

In addition, member clubs are also likely to play in the Scottish Amateur Cup and the regional cup (North of Tay). Below are teams who have won these trophies, whilst playing in the Dundee SMFL.

The 2019-20 North of Tay Cup final is of note as it was the first time a final was an all DSMFL affair, as Bank Street Athletic defeated Fintry Athletic to win the cup, Fintry have made a total of three North of Tay finals, winning once and losing on two occasions.
