History[edit]

MANNARINO was founded in 1999 by John Mannarino and has grown from a one-person consulting company to a highly reputable engineering firm, providing safety-critical systems, airborne software and electronic hardware engineering services to over 25 customers in the aerospace, defense, simulation, space, power generation and rail industries. In September 2016, MANNARINO was authorized as a Design Approval Organization (DAO) for Airborne Software (RTCA/DO-178B/C) and Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) (RTCA/DO-254) by the National Aircraft Certification Branch of Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) ~ a first for a Canadian service-based organization.

John Mannarino’s pedigree speaks for itself. His educational excellence was rewarded when, upon graduation from Concordia University in 1989, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with the honor of Great Distinction. He was also awarded the Mechanical Engineering Medal for the highest grade point average among his peers in mechanical engineering, the Chait Medal for highest grade point average among all graduating engineers, and the Prix d’Excellence from the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ) for outstanding achievement.

Following his studies, John Mannarino was employed by a leading Canadian aerospace engine manufacturer, where he later became Manager of Controls Engineering, responsible for thirty engineers and twelve concurrent development programs. .

In 1999, John Mannarino decided to branch out on his own and formed MANNARINO Systems u0026amp; Software Inc., which is a privately held Canadian Corporation.

Today, MANNARINO has gained international acclaim and has come to be known for excellence in its offering, with much of its success lying largely in the unique skillset, expertise and professionalism of its senior management and engineering teams.
