Boardclic, is a Swedish SaaS B2B platform founded by Monica Lagercrantz[1] and Malin Lombardi[2] which provides an online analytics platform to evaluate boards of directors and CEOs using a data-driven and science-based approach.
The platform provides qualitative actionable insights on performance, benchmarking and transparency in order to align top leadership functions.
BoardClic History[edit]
After working with executive search at various firms for 20+ years, the founders started Boardclic as a way to modernise board work through digital evaluations based on science and their prior experience.
Founders[edit]
Monica Lagercrantz is the founder and CEO of BoardClic and the boutique advisory firm Lagercrantz Associates, clients including international and Nordic companies. She has 20+ years of international executive search experience with focus on C-suite, board of directors and other key positions in the Nordic and international markets. Monica was a Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates and set up the firm’s activities in Sweden, and Managing Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, Sweden. She previously worked as a lawyer. Monica has a M.Sc. in Business Law and a LL.M.
Malin Lombardi is the co-founder of BoardClic and partner at Lagercrantz Associates. Between 2006 and 2015, Malin was a senior business lawyer with Roschier Attorneys in Stockholm, providing advice to boards, shareholders and senior management in corporate governance matters. She spent the bulk of her law practice career handling delicate matters relating to M&A and securities law, with a focus on public tender offers, private M&A, transaction structures and advice on insider rules. Other experience include Deutsche Bank's London Branch (Nordic M&A, 2012) and DeLaval (Legal Affairs, 2013-2014). Malin is of Finnish-Swedish nationality and received her LL.M. from Lund University.

The board of directors is made up of three external members and Boardclic's two founders.
The software[edit]
Boardclic offers various evaluation services based on surveys which together with behavioural science generate actionable insights.

Board Evaluation[edit]
Boardclic's board evaluation measures how boards achieve their environmental, social and RoI objectives.Specific corporate governance models are also addressed, as well as circumstances and competencies regarding each board member. An owned database allows Boardclic to identify the drivers of board work with the highest impact on boards’ value creation.[3]
CEO Evaluation[edit]
BoardClic measures CEO performance regarding leadership and strategy implementation through a combination of subjective and objective analysis. Continuous monitoring and feedback as well as insights is also provided.[4]
Boardclic Express[edit]
Boardclic Express is a lightweight web-based application meant for quicker evaluations right after meetings. It was developed as an extension of the main products.[5]
