Big Box Self Storage Centres provides self-storage space in the South East of England. The Company is privately run by brothers Michael and Peter Rayner.

History[edit]

Based in Brighton, the company opened its first self-storage centre in the Ditchling Common Business park in Mid Sussex following the conversion of a pre-existing warehousing facility which was part of the Directors former Pan-European specialist Fine Arts and Antiques transport and logistics company, Arts International. In the following years alongside the rise in popularity of self-storage Big Box expanded to operate Centres in High Wycombe, Newhaven, Sussex,Colchester, Mid-Sussex, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Ipswich and Norwich, along with four Centres in the immediate Brighton area (West Hove, North Brighton, East Brighton and Kemptown).

Operations[edit]

The company rents clean, secure and individually lockable spaces within a large warehouse setting which is open and available for use to the domestic, public and private sectors.
