Rob McCoy Rob McCoy is a city council member in Thousand Oaks, California. He has lived in the area for 15 years, and has served on the city council for a year and a half. He has just been re-elected for another term on the city council in early November of 2016. He hopes to create more jobs, preserve the beautiful lands, and help to provide any necessary resources to the local police department in order to keep Thousand Oaks safe. He is also known to be a larger supporter of Measure F, as he hopes to help farmers and the agriculture industry.

McCoy was born in Coronada, California, though he has lived in the city of Thousand Oaks for over 15 years. The son of a Navy officer, he was a champion swimmer and water polo player throughout high school. In college,he received 3rd place in the senior national open water swimming championships while earning his BA in history at Fresno State. After college he held several positions as a manager at many different companies. He has also served on the boards for many different organizations, including the Conejo Pregnancy Center and United in Purpose, as well as being a National District Counselor to the Alpha Gamma Omega fraternity.

In addition to being a voice for the people on the city council, McCoy is also a minister at the Cavalry Chapel in Thousand Oaks, where he was appointed the Senior Pastor over 15 years ago.
