Hifonics is a car audio equipment manufacturer. They are now part of Maxxsonics which was established in 2001. Hifonics was established in November 1981. Hifonics is known for using the names of various gods for their amplifier series and models. This was the idea of Helmut Stieglitz, who wanted to make them unique and memorable instead of just using numbers for model names.
