Mahakal group of institutes is an Professional degree college in Ujjain in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The college was established in the year 2001 by Shri Praveen Vashistha[1] an educationist and is affiliated to the Rajeev Gandhi Technical University and certified by the AICTE.[2]
MIT group of institutes, Ujjain has its founding spirit of 'Always Students First' and cultivate students with the best Academic practices, theories, resources, different activities and standards that matches all over the world.[3]

The college was founded as Mahakal institute of technology, Ujjain, in 2001 by shri Praveen Vashishta as a dream project for students of Madhya pradesh to incite them towards professional education. With this visionary approach, within a short span of six years Mahakal Group of Institutes is expanded by adding five more colleges, namely, MICS and MIPS in 2002, MIM in 2003, MITS in 2006 and MITM in 2007. These institutes run UG and PG programmes in various disciplines like BE, B. Pharm, ME, M.Pharm, MBA and MCA with more than 5000 students on board.
